Attended prayer day/ prize giving at Saseta girls. Hosted director of Secondary Education Mr kibet who was standing in for PS education Dr Bellio Kipsang. Mr kibet pledged Kshs 5million for infrastructure development to complete 3 storey building.

2017/2018 Bursaries Released

On 5th May 2018, our able Member of Parliament Hon. Brighton Yegon Launched distribution of cheques worth kshs. 27 million NG-CDF bursary for all needy students in the Constituency at Saseta girls high school. He had earlier inspected Saseta girls (to be issued with 1 million to boost in construction of three storey dormitory) , and Saseta small home facilities (to be issued with 200k cheque for working on customized facilities

The In afternoon he attended a funeral at Kaptien for the late Mr Chumo. Later in the evening he was one of chief guest in a fundraiser in aid of Nickson from kibitkoi kimulot who is to undergo bone marrow transplant in India.

Thanks to Deputy President for supporting this fundrive with handsome contribution, thanks also to Imarisha, Bomet county, Governor Joyce, former governor Isaac Rutto, DG Barchok, Hon Joyce Korir, hon Dr Christopher Langat senator, hon Kiprotich MCA chepchabas, hon Clara, vibrant kimulot youths among others for your generous contributions. We raise around 2.2m.

Water for all-Kenya Red Cross MOU

Our able MP Hon. Birghton Yegon witnessed the signing of MOU between Kenya Red Cross and county government of Bomet Led by Governor Dr.Joyce Laboso. The MOU is aimed at connecting water to households mainly at Kimulot ward in our constituency. Water will be sourced from Kapilat. This partnership in water project will solve perennial problem experienced by Chebangang, Kimulot and it’s environs

Youth Empowerment

On 5th May 2018 our able member of Parliament Hon.Brighton Yegon lived to his word during the campaign for youth empowerment by commissioning the training of over 200 boda boda operators on road safety and also to get licenses. The MP also said that the training will be done annually so that in the next three years there will be no boda boda rider without training and certified documentation who will be allowed to carry out boda boda business in the constituency. The aim is to reduce accidents related to boda boda riders as most of them previously lacked professional training to operate. The licensing will also reduce incidence of harassment from Traffic police to Boda boda operators
